I’m Matthew, an IT Systems & Network Administrator

I’m an Austin based IT professional who specializes in keeping modern fleets running and cloud systems secure. I spend most of my time in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, making sure the backend engineering operates smoothly for the people using it every day. I like to say I bridge the gap between 'complex engineering' and 'stuff that actually works for people.' My experience ranges from helping startups get SOC 2 ready with Vanta to managing global fleets of over 35,000 endpoints for multi-national corporations. I’m a big believer in building scalable, secure systems that empower teams rather than slowing them down.

Key Projects

ITSM Implementation & Automation

Successfully led the planning and deployment of the SysAid ITSM platform at Optimus Tech Group. By utilizing PowerShell for asset synchronization and standardizing SOPs, I reduced manual ticket triage and improved resolution SLAs across the board.

Enterprise Asset Lifecycle & Inventory Revamp

Redesigned the intake and processing workflow for Whole Foods Market corporate assets. By integrating legacy hardware returns into ServiceNow Asset Management, I improved tracking accuracy and ensured secure data decommissioning for thousands of legacy devices.

Large-Scale Enterprise Hardware Migration

Assisted the transition of a massive corporate fleet from legacy WFM laptops to standardized Amazon hardware. This included proctoring hybrid onboarding classes and providing dedicated "white-glove" helpdesk support to ensure a zero-downtime migration for 35,000+ endpoints.

Home Lab: Experimental Infrastructure

I maintain a high-availability home lab environment to stress-test emerging tech. Current configurations include a network-attached storage (NAS) array, locally hosted gaming servers for performance testing, and real-time network monitoring tools to explore zero-trust security models.
